It began with short stories in grammar school ("The Black Fox Brave"). Then it was plays in high school ("JJB's Knell of Kyushu"). In college, I wrote poems, more shorts, and a novel ("Casual Platoon"). I liked them all, but in my twenties, I discovered screenwriting and I was hooked.

I read books, took classes in NYC, wrote many terrible screenplays, built a screenwriting website (MoviePoet), and even created a writer's group that is still going strong today.

Somewhere along the way, I wrote over a dozen features and a hundred shorts, but, most importantly, I learned and loved the craft of screenwriting.

Here is a small selection of my favorite scripts.
